Rubbed Finishes
Our rubbed finish gives each piece of furniture a slightly worn or vintage look. We begin with a paint finish then “rub it away” on the edges and around places where hands may have naturally done the same thing from years of use. We then seal the finish with a satin clear coat.
Crackle Finishes
Our crackle finish is even more rustic than our rubbed finish. We start with a base coat of white paint, and then cover it in a secondary color, which we crackle. This allows the undercoat to peak through; giving the piece a distressed antique patina. We then apply the rubbed finish to the edges making sure we add some additional dents and dings for added charm. This finish is also sealed with a satin clear coat.
